Galatasaray has officially completed the permanent transfer of Victor Osimhen from Napoli for a fee of €75 million.
This deal shatters the previous transfer record for the Turkish Süper Lig.
Osimhen, who is 26 years old, previously spent the 2024-2025 season on loan at Galatasaray, where he was a key player in the club's domestic double, winning both the league and the Turkish Cup. He also finished as the league's top scorer.
The €75 million transfer fee is structured to be paid in installments, with an initial payment of €40 million and the remaining amount to be paid later.
Galatasaray will also reportedly pay Napoli 10% of any profit from a future sale of the Nigerian striker.
Osimhen's move to Galatasaray comes after a successful four-season spell at Napoli, during which he helped the team win the Serie A title in the 2022-2023 season.
His arrival in Istanbul was met with a massive crowd of enthusiastic fans, highlighting the significance of the transfer for the club.
